Ask ten AI image makers what client-ready means and you will get ten answers about quality. Quality is table stakes. Client-ready is about defensibility, usability, and honesty.
Defensible
You can sit in a room and explain why each frame exists, what job it does, and why it is in the set. If a brand asks why frame seven is there and the answer is "it looked good", you are not client-ready.
Usable
Every frame has a placement. Horizontal hero, vertical social, PDP support, thumbnail-safe. Delivered at the right ratios, with copy space where copy will go. A folder of beautiful squares is a gift, not a deliverable.
Honest

The image must not misrepresent the product. Not colour, not construction, not scale, not material. This is the boundary where an aesthetic problem becomes a commercial and legal one, and it is the reason brands are cautious about AI imagery in the first place.
On brand
Right craft, wrong world is still wrong. A campaign that would suit any brand suits none, and the client is paying for their brand specifically.
The working test
- Can you name the job of every frame?
- Does every frame have a real placement and ratio?
- Would the product team recognise their product in all of them?
- Could a competitor swap their logo onto this set unchanged?
- Can you state the risk boundaries you worked inside?
If you cannot answer all five, the work is not finished — it is just attractive.
